The Patterson–Gimlin Film: A Figure That Refuses to Fade

    April 26, 2026April 26, 2026

Some footage ages. Some footage decays. And some footage refuses to settle into the past, as if the moment captured on film is still unfolding somewhere just out of reach. The Patterson-Gimlin film belongs to that last category — a 59‑second fragment recorded in 1967 that continues to resist closure. It is not the clarity…

The Moberly-Jourdain Time Slip: A Moment Out of Time

    April 26, 2026April 29, 2026

Some events refuse to settle into the past. They linger, not as folklore or exaggeration, but as something quieter — a disturbance in the ordinary rhythm of reality. The Moberly-Jourdain time slip incident is one of those moments. It is not loud, not cinematic, not wrapped in the usual theatrics of the paranormal. Instead, it…

Microfluidic device tracks cell ‘squishiness’ faster and more reliably than standard methods

    April 25, 2026
Researchers from Brown University and their collaborators have developed a new way to measure the properties of cells—an important development, they say, because accurate measurements of changes in cell elasticity can be used to better understand diseases, diagnose patient symptoms and provide more accurate prognoses.

    The Esoteric Origins of 666

    April 25, 2026

Since 2020, the world has been overwhelmed by a series of events that seem almost beyond belief, surpassing even the predictions of the ‘conspiracy theorists’. From unprecedented global lockdowns to growing concerns about another current wave of lockdowns tied to rising fuel prices and shifts toward remote work, the current moment feels strangely unreal.  […]

Can an Atomic Explosion Ignite a Chain Reaction of Deuterium in 3I/ATLAS?

    April 25, 2026
One of the surprising anomalies of 3I/ATLAS is its exceedingly high fraction of deuterium, amounting to one deuterium (D) in 100 hydrogen (H) atoms in water (as reported here) and one deuterium in 30 hydrogen atoms in the organic molecule of methane (as reported here). The latter value of D/H fraction of 3.3% is a …

    Louisa Peck – NDE

    April 24, 2026
Lousia Peck had her near-death experience in November of 1982. A rabid atheist, she was on a path of self-destruction that traced back to her alcoholic family. Drinking and infatuation were the two “twin highs” that dominated her broken life — until a near-death experience, and Alcoholics Anonymous, helped turn everything around.  Continue reading →

Cosmology of the Incas: The Symbolism of the Incan Altar Examined

    April 24, 2026
Abstract: At the time of the Spanish Conquest, Cusco’s Coricancha, the building marking the center of the Inca Empire, contained a gigantic gold plaque on which the Incan cosmic schema was outlined in a series of symbolic devices and signs arranged in three separate columns. Sadly, this extraordinary monument did […]

About

Syngulary is a one-person project collecting strange, unresolved, and overlooked stories from around the web — curated without agenda, presented without verdict.

About this site →
— Observed —

Not every question deserves a forced answer. Some are better left open.

The most interesting thing about an unexplained event is not what it might mean — but that it happened at all.

Clarity without conclusion is not uncertainty. It is honesty.

Some cases don't close. They simply wait.

The record holds. The answer doesn't.

Strange things happen at the edge of what we think we know.

The absence of explanation is not the same as the absence of truth.

Some events are more interesting for the questions they raise than the answers they resist.

What we cannot explain, we often choose to forget. This is where Syngulary begins.

The universe is not obligated to make sense to us.

A document can survive a century. An explanation rarely survives a decade.

The most reliable witnesses are often the ones nobody believed.

Observation without verdict is harder than it sounds.

Some phenomena have been documented, debated, and filed away — still unresolved.

The gap between what happened and what was reported is where the interesting things live.

Every unsolved case is a question still in the air.

Not all mysteries demand solutions. Some simply deserve attention.

The strange is not the opposite of the real. Sometimes it is the most real thing in the room.

We document what we cannot explain. We do not explain what we cannot document.

Restraint is not the absence of curiosity. It is curiosity without agenda.

The file is open. The verdict is not.

Some things happened. We just don't know what they were.

The record is incomplete. It always will be.

A case is only closed when someone decides to stop looking.

What was observed cannot be unobserved. What it means remains to be seen.
